Isaiah 62:6-7
"I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem;
they will never be silent day or night.
You who call on the Lord,
give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem
and makes her the praise of the earth."

This blog is purely for the glory of God. We are indeed watchmen and need to prepare everyone around us for the coming of our King, Jesus! I want people to see and hear what God presents to me, but also how my life is playing out as I work at follow the Holy Spirit. There will be lots of serious stuff on here but also fun stuff too, because God is the funniest guy ever and like to make me laugh!

The name A City Not Forsaken comes from Isaiah 62 when Jerusalem is called "a city not forsaken" because God's favor is over it and that is where He will reign from in His return. We are people who have screwed up on accident and on purpose and the Lord sent His son to die as a living sacrifice so we do not have to be forsaken people, and I feel led to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ that God is a living God and wants to be a part of your life. We are not forsaken.
